Today I want to introduce you to a designer I came across recently. Her name is Julie Van den Berghe and she studied fashion at the Royal Academie of Fine Arts (KASK) in Ghent. People might know her as the winner of the public price at the Toga Designer Award in 2011. She graduated in 2012 with her first boys collection 'Fratelli', based on her own brothers. She currently works as a freelance stylist, and fashion/jewelry designer, and giiiiiiiiiiiirl she does it right! I fell head over heals for her geometrical SHAPES, a collection of fun yet almost architectural 2D and 3D shaped necklaces. They are available in different sweet candy colors but also in basic white and black. I am totally in love with the black TETRA, guess what got on my wishlist right now!

My favourite, mainly because it is the one that is most suitable for both women and men. This one in black, please! |
