Into The Wild

So here I am with a new outfit, finally! The combination of lots of work, rain and literally NO spare time has limited my chances to shoot another outfit, but this weekend I manned up, called my PP (personal photographer), checked the weather forecast (Belgium is quite unpredictable when it comes to weather) and got outside to catch those last golden rays of sunshine after some summery showers. I happen to live in a neighbourhood with a very varied offer when it comes to outfit post surroundings, and for this one, the outfit was inspired by the setting, and not the other way around. I wanted something wild, something safari-ish, and I must say, it helped that I still had this pair of grey trousers with a subtle leopard print laying around. I love how the leopard only shows in the light, it makes an outfit so much more interesting. For your interest, I got these pants at H&M in Vienna for about eight euros. Quite the steal, right? I paired it up with some jeans, cuz' you know, when in trouble, wear jeans. Or black. Or whatever the f*ck you feel great in. My shirt has this degradé/dip-dye kind of thing going on, what gives it just that little detail to tell it apart from all those other jeans shirts out there. For the accessories, I went with some very Africa-safari inspired pieces, like the necklace, the printed foulard and the sandals.
I kind of love how the pictures turned out, as you can't really tell this setting lays next to a busy road or do you? It's all about camera angle, baby!
