Aloha dear reader! If you do not live in Belgium or if you live under a rock here, you might not have noticed that we experienced a serious heat wave the past week. Temperatures were over thirty and more, and let me tell you, this gal was not prepared. When it gets that hot, I tend to become a solitary hermit that lives in his room with the curtains closed, to avoid the heat. You can understand my excitment when I received an invite to a pool party from Oona PR, organised by Teva. Yes, you heard that right, Teva! The sandals brand that has been rising from the ashes aka outdoor enthousiasts into the closets of many fashionista's. Of course, I was very relieved and happy to find some cooling down, and in the company of some great friends, delicious drinks and tasty bites, the Teva pool party was the perfect start to this #OriginalSummer. Quite the way to kick things off this summer! The pictures I used in this blog post are the ones that were taken by the official photographer of the night, Jelle Sluyts, cuz this babe was too busy dipping her feet in the refreshing water, while sipping on some gin tonics (and also, I didn't want my camera to get wet, that too). Sorry for the rather short post today, but this will probably be my last post for the next couple of weeks, because HOLLA, WE'RE GOING ON A VACATION TONIGHT! I will be away for quite some time, but you can stay updated on all my adventures abroad on my Instagram, Twitter and Facebook page.

Thank you for reading, and see you soon!

  1. So bummed I couldn't make it - yet again D:

  2. Don't know that I would have been able to resist taking my shoes off and dangling my feet in the pool, never mind trying out sandals! That looks like a whole lot of fun, and I'm glad you got to cool down a bit from the heat -- you're so lucky! Hope you enjoyed it!

  3. Absolutely fabulous pool party photos. All these inspirations are so nice. I too have been planning a baby shower party for a friend at some local LA event venues but not able to find any good winter friendly party theme. Could you help regarding it?
