A NIGHT IN BRUSSELS WITH THE HOTEL

Hello everyone! As I promised you in my previous post, I will be talking about the place where I stayed after the Zalando Blogger Awards last week. The hotel I was fortunate enough to sleep in was The Hotel Brussels (I know, what's in a name, right?), and I was and still am completely over the moon with my experience there. First of all: this hotel is situated in the very heart of our beloved capital, near the Avenue Louise, also known as the most important shopping street of Brussels. Could it get any better? Well, it could. Because next to the charming bed rooms, the gorgeous lobby and the cool shop-like window displays throughout the hotel, the main facet of The Hotel is their panoramic view over Brussels. It was dark when I arrived in my Hotel Room, but ladies and gents, let me tell you: the view did not disappoint. The lovely Brand Manager, ChloĆ©, was so kind as to hook me up with a Deluxe Panorama room, and boy, did I get a deluxe panorama. For those of you who missed this picture in my last post, this was my nightly view over Brussels:

Quite stunning, am I right? Of course, when I came back from a night of partying at the Zalando Blogger Awards, it was too dark and too late (and I was too tipsy) to take pictures of the room, so I did that the next morning. As you can see, the room was just lovely, with lots of light, a big bed, a rain shower (which I didn't get to take a picture of, whoops), nice, big mirrors and the sweetest welcome note from ChloƩ!

You know what is very, very cool (and makes me feel all special and important)? When you book a Panorama room, you get immediate access to the Panorama Lounge, which is open from 7AM 'till 10PM, and offers an amazing range of either breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack goodies. You can also treat yourself to a wonderful glass of bubbly champagne, or any other drink you'd like. Sounds fabulous already? Well, all this is combined with a wall filled with windows, so you can once again enjoy a full view on breathtaking Brussels. Let me tell you: having breakfast while gazing over the concrete jungle that is our capital, is quite the experience!

What I loved as well, was the fact that The Hotel is completely fashioned out: there are all kinds of fashion related books everywhere, from the complete works of Mario Testino to an overview of Raf Simons' career, and all over the hotel, you find little displays, almost like shop windows, that make you feel like you're in a fancy ass shopping gallery. LOVES IT.

And just like that, my blitz visit to Brussels was over and we had to check out of The Hotel, but not before taking some pics in front of this amazing graphic wall outside the lobby.

As you can (hopefully) tell, I had a blast in Brussels and in my hotel specifically, I'd like to thank The Hotel for giving me the amazing opportunity to stay at our place, I felt more than welcome, and I'll surely be back!

  2. The Hotel Brussels looks amazing! I really want to stay there, it looks like a beautifully upscale and well designed room. I would probably end up spending more time in the room than exploring the city. Wherever I travel, I always seek out the best hotels in the area. Why travel if not in style?
